Phosphorus Burns

Phosphorus compounds are used in chemical laboratories, some industrial processes, matches, ?reworks and in certain types of aerial bombs and artillery shells. If particles of phosphorus settle on or become embedded in the skin, the resulting burn should be treated with a 2 per cent solution of sodium bicarbonate, followed by application of a 1 per cent solution of copper sulphate....
