Microperimetry: From 1 Different Sources


n. mapping the pattern of a patient’s retinal sensitivity onto an image of that individual’s fundus (back of the eye) to measure the patient’s response to light stimuli at various retinal points. The data are superimposed on an image captured by a scanning laser *ophthalmoscope or by fundus photography to precisely identify areas of impaired or preserved function.
