(Potter’s) A herbal remedy for backache and urinary disorders. Winged Lion. Formula: Buchu BPC 1963 6.25 per cent; Broom 18.75 per cent; Clivers 12.5 per cent; Equisetum (Horsetail) 18.75 per cent; Senna leaf BP 6.25 per cent; Couch Grass 12.5 per cent; Liquorice BP 12.5 per cent; Uva Ursi 12.5 per cent. Well-known for over one hundred years as a demulcent diuretic and urinary antiseptic. 1 tablespoon infused in 1 pint boiling water in a covered vessel (teapot), to be drunk throughout the day.
