Heterochromia: From 1 Different Sources


n. colour difference in the iris of the eye, which is usually congenital but is occasionally secondary to inflammation of the iris (as in *Fuchs’ heterochromic cyclitis). In heterochromia iridis one iris differs in colour from the other; in heterochromia iridum one part of the iris differs in colour from the rest. —heterochromic adj.
